Scoil Acla - Sean Nós Singing

For the past number of years, the Sean Nós singing workshop has been given by Síle Uí Mhóngáin from Achills’ neighbouring Gaeltacht of Dú Thuma. Síle has grown up in an area rich in culture and tradition and where music and song are an integral part of the social fabric. She is also mother to a talented musical family - her sons are regular tutors during our summer school. Ceann de na hAmhránaí is fearr sa Chontae.
